Threatcare is Proud to Support DIV Hackathon, a Youth and Diversity-focused Hackathon
Threatcare is proud to support DIV hackathon in it’s fourth consecutive year. DIV hackathon provides a youth and diversity-focused hackathon where Millenials of Color can draft, develop, and pitch a workable mobile app. DIV hackathon’s mission is to have Millenials of Color prove to themselves that they can be creators, entrepreneurs, innovators, and disruptors of today’s technology.
Threatcare’s own founder and CEO, Marcus Carey, will be acting as a judge for the competition which takes place March 10-11, 2018 at Huston-Tillotson University.
“Threatcare is a company that chooses to give and serve first. I’m happy to be working with these brilliant young minds and hopefully we can provide them with the inspiration to become hackers and start their own businesses in the future,” said Carey.
The 2018 DIV hackathon focuses on answering a technology pipeline problem. The participating students (middle school, high school, and undergraduate) will be paired with mentors and be tasked with creating mobile apps to solve problems in the Business, Education, Health, and Social Justice Sectors.
Join Marcus Carey and Threatcare at DIV hackathon to witness and support the future of the tech industry.
