Event Info

When and where is it?

Thursday, May 2nd, 2019

Capital Factory – 1st Floor Voltron

701 Brazos St.

Austin, TX 78701

Where can I park?

Metered parking is available on the block surrounding the Omni Hotel/Austin Centre building.

During the hours of the summit, metered parking costs $1 per hour. Meters have a maximum length of stay that varies by area. Meters take MasterCard, Visa, debit cards or coins. There’s also a free app from ParkMe that can help you find the closest parking on a block-by-block basis.

We recommend taking a bike, bus, or ride-share so you won’t have to worry about expiring meters. There are bike racks in the garage.

For complete parking info near Capital Factory, click here.

Who can I contact if I have dietary restrictions?

When registering on the Eventbrite, please list dietary restrictions before completing checkout. If you need to make a change, email [email protected] with the name and email address used in the registration. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

May I bring a guest?

Speakers for the event are allowed to bring a guest, and event sponsors may bring guests associated with the number of tickets given in their sponsorship package. Summit attendees who don’t fall in those two categories must be registered prior to the event. We will not be selling tickets at the door.

Will the event be streamed or recorded?

Both! You can find the live stream of the event here:

We’ll be uploading recorded videos of the talks as soon as we can after the Summit.

What is your exchange/refund policy?

By registering and attending the Tribe of Hackers Summit, attendees acknowledge they are 21 years of age and consent to be photographed and video recorded for use in print, audio, and/or electronic publicity by Threatcare, its partners, or the Tribe of Hackers Summit. To ensure the privacy of individuals, images will not be identified.

All tickets are non-refundable once purchased. If you would like to transfer your ticket to someone else, please email your request to [email protected] with your ticket info, and the full name and email address of the person that will be receiving the ticket.

What is included in my registration fee?

Your registration includes full-day admission to the Tribe of Hackers Summit, a catered lunch, and any snacks/beverages provided during the day. If you choose to purchase a ticket that includes a signed copy of the book, you can pick up your book at the event.

Are travel and lodging included in the registration?

No–travel, lodging, or any costs outside of what is included in registration (see above) are not covered.
